He is a retired military general with 38 years of dedicated and professional military service. With a Master's Degree in Management (1994) from the Philippine Christian University in Manila, and a Master's Degree in Strategic Studies (2006) from the US Army War College in Pennsylvania, USA.

Notable Contributions to the Government:

Special Assistant under the Office of the President of the Philippines (2001- 2004). Provided wise counsel and sound advice to the President on a variety of national issues. Commander of the National Development Support Command under the AFP (2010-2012). Organized the development arm of the AFP, thereby creating a softer and more humane face for the military.

Upon retirement, he joined Habitat for Humanity and was the Regional Manager for the Visayas in 2013 during the Super Typhoon Yolanda Rehabilitation. He was the Group Security Head of Udenna Corporation from 2017 to 2023. He was also President of Aegus Management, Inc. – the security business unit of the group. A dedicated and innovative leader, he is one of the founders of Jade Solutions and Management Services, Inc., and 1AMI Manpower Service Provider.
